PT. Widjajatunggal Sejahtera the birth mother of Sintesa Group of Companies was destined to take participation in the ownership of the PT. Tigaraksa otherwise known as the TIRA Group. From its inception in 1992 PT. Widjajatunggal Sejahtera has today equity participated in all companies within the TIRA Group. The founders of PT. Widjajatunggal Sejahtera recognized there was a synergistic value to all their equity participation in the pursuit of their common goal. In 1999 the founders of PT. Widjajatunggal Sejahtera decided to give a brand name to the legal notary deed and Sintesa Group of Companies was born. board of Directors
Today Sintesa Group of Companies have investments in sixteen companies including companies within the TIRA Group and other independent companies, where two companies are registered at the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Sintesa succeeded to convince renowned international companies to invest in the companies under The Sintesa Group of Companies.

Sintesa should be seen as a corporation that understands Indonesia with its vast riches, which otherwise is seen as a country with immense intricacies. As it has done with its other international business partners, Sintesa has been able to guide the companies where they own equity through the business environment in Indonesia and have indeed flourished.
